Word of the Day – Acceptation (poem)

I don’t want to face tomorrow
Knowing your affections have gone
I try to force acceptation
Every time i get close
Your face lingers in my peripheral
Temptation overtakes me
I want to run back to you
Even though you will push me away
I long to be punished by you
Both tormented and loved by you
I reject this finality
I choose you
I’ll wait a million years
For you to choose me

    1. Thank you so much for that kind compliment! I’m glad it resonated with you. I actually had a hard time writing this!
